abraham running for congress when i turn 25's User Page

Al Gore in 3rd Place Nationally

It took some calculation but here it is:

AP

In contrast, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton has a clear, across-the-board lead in the Democratic race over Sen. Barack Obama by 34 percent to 20 percent, roughly the margin she has enjoyed for months. Lagging behind was former Sen. John Edwards at 10 percent, while another 12 percent had no preference.

Clinton's lead stretched even more when Democrats supporting former Vice President Al Gore, who has not said he will run, are divided among their second choices. Then, she is ahead of Obama by 43 percent to 23 percent, with Edwards at 13 percent.

THE MATH over ther Fold!

Why Al Gore would make the Dems Take Action

I have been thinking about this for a while, Democrats have been in power for 8 months, Our Frontrunners aren't Leading. They are blowing with the wind. On Iraq some 60% of the population is ready for change, some are slowly changing their tune because 60% of the Population already knows Iraq was a mistake. And what is our Congress people preparing to do????(yes the extra question marks are neccessary) Are they going to look at the beast and fight... Not from the looks of it so far.

(This is an Al Gore Diary... I will get to him)

If our Frontrunners (all of them) took a hard line on the Iraq, Healthcare, Torture! What if they went out every night to tell the people why the Last Eight Years have been a disaster, how the media sold us for ratings, how the Government has failed to provide for the weakest amongst us, How we squandered a surplus for a (all time high!)deficit. Do you think that our Democratic congress would cross them? I think it would be pretty hard

here is where I get to the Point.

"I'm trying to say to you, be a part of the change"
"No one else is going to do it. The politicians are
paralyzed. The people have to do it for
themselves!"
- Al Gore

Al Gore has been at the forefront of All these battles. If we were to successfully convince Al Gore to run for President it would send a signal to Our Beloved "Leadership" that we want change, we want A Democrat's Democrat. I am tired of triangulating, of circumnavigating brush with a paddle or what ever you like to call it. I want a leader that will know what top do not 3 year later, I want my leadership to be right on the mark when it counts, before your friends die from a snipers bullet, or a loved one from untreated cancer, or a Bridge Collapses or a Hurricane Drowns an American city...

We need to make our voices heard, 70% percent of this community knows Al Gore would be what we want in the White House, then get Al Gore in The White House. 1 months and a Half is all it will take. Join a Group Tell Your Friends. Unity in the Movement is coming.

Check the Bottom of this Diary for More Information on that.

What ever happened to that Straw Poll?

This won't be much of a diary, but a couple of days ago the frontpagers ran a presidential straw poll and promised a rundown of the numbers. I thought maybe even a comparison to the previous straw poll would be in order but I don't know.

I personally am not as well versed in the art of poll reading or number crunching but I do dabble in it and would be interested in knowing what the Netroots is feeling about our presidential prospects.
